Air France now flies daily with a passenger Boeing 777 from Paris Charles de Gaulle to OR Tambo Airport near Johannesburg, South Africa. In addition to this, a Boeing 777 full freighter is also regularly deployed on this route hence Air France is becoming a regular visitor again due to high import demand.
On the outbound leg, the 777-200F carried various commodities for the South African market. The flight returned with automotive parts via Nairobi, where the remaining capacity was utilised for perishables bound for Europe.
This represents another successful flight operated from Eastern and Southern Africa, displaying Air France´s agility across the region.
