Operation at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol

Due to the recent heavy snowfall in the Netherlands, in combination with very low temperatures, our activities at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol were seriously hindered.

The weather has now improved, although temperatures remain low. Meanwhile, our operation, especially ground handling, has improved considerably, but not all disruptions have been completed yet. No flight cancellations are expected.

We will do our utmost to keep you informed about the status of your shipments through our ‘Track & Trace´ system and to reduce the impact on your shipments to the best of our ability.

KLM resumed flights to China on Monday 8 February

KLM resumed flights to China on Monday, 8 February. Earlier reports regarding new corona rules for crew were unclear in their interpretation. After consulting various agencies, including IATA and its local delegation in China, it has become clear that KLM's policy meets the official requirements set by China. Therefore, flights will be operated again as per current schedule.
