To enhance the accuracy of shipment details provided by our customers, we have introduced a new feature in myCargo that provides real-time feedback on the quality of e-AWB data. This feedback was previously conveyed via standard IATA messaging, but we have made it more convenient for our customers by making it available directly in myCargo. With this new functionality, AFKLMP Cargo aims to help customers assess the quality of their e-AWB data and take necessary corrective actions.
Starting from 7 March, customers can now quote and book a wider range of Safe 2 products (products vulnerable to theft) directly through myCargo in all our markets*. This expansion in the scope of booking specific types of vulnerable goods through myCargo is a step forward in our goal to make myCargo as easy, efficient, and user-friendly as possible to cater to all your operational needs.
The new European Union customs requirements regarding import - ICS2 - have officially become mandatory as per 1 March.

KLM has increased flight frequency to China from 30 January. Weekly frequency to Shanghai have been increased from 1 to 3 flights, and to Hangzhou from 2 to 3 flights.
This brings our total (AF and KL) frequency to China to 10 flights a week.

On 8 February, two new Cool Rooms were opened for Pharma 15-25°C at our Paris Charles de Gaulle hub. Total capacity of these is 128 EUR pallets, besides dedicated oversize shipment capabilities, spread over a floor size of 160m². Next to these CRT cool cells, a dedicated 2-8°C Pharma cool cell was opened. With these latest additions, total cool-room capacity has grown to 20,000m³ across both hubs.
