KLM flies medical goods to Saigon

PharmaAug - 17, 2020
For the first time since 1998, KLM today operated a flight to Ho Chi Minh City Airport in Vietnam.

This cargo flight was loaded with medical goods that have been waiting for transport since July.
Although Vietnam is a regular destination for Air France, normal operations out of Paris were suspended for several weeks due to operational restrictions at their crew station in Bangkok.

On 6 August, Air France therefore asked whether KLM might be able to operate the flight to Vietnam. Displaying great flexibility and commitment, the KLM staff was able to make swift arrangements, which led to the medical supplies being transported to Vietnam last Friday.
