Air France Welcomes New A350 “Nice” to its Long-Haul Fleet

Air France welcomed a new A350, named “Nice”, to its fleet on Tuesday, 4 February.

This new A350-900 is one of 38 that will progressively join the Air France long-haul fleet as part of a renewal plan running through until 2025.

The new arrival operated its first commercial flight to Bamako (Mali) and Abidjan (Ivory Coast) on 12 February.

During the summer season (29 March to 25 October 2020), Air France will deploy new A350 equipment on flights to six long-haul destinations out of Paris-Charles de Gaulle: Bamako, Abidjan, Bangkok (Thailand), Atlanta, Boston and Washington (United States).

The new A350 is more eco-friendly, with 20% lower environmental impact, thanks to lighter materials. It also produces 40% less noise than its predecessor.
